Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Announces the Promotion of Allison Lynch to Chief Operating Officer – Pathology Division

MAITLAND, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery (ADCS), a national leader in dermatology care, today announced that Allison Lynch has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer – Pathology Division.

“Allison demonstrated real leadership while integrating our three labs into a coordinated, efficient operation supported by a common platform,” said Dr. Matt Leavitt, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ADCS. “At the same time, she worked closely with our team of world class pathologists whose high-quality reads and timely reports earned the confidence and support of our dermatologist community.’’

Allison joined Birmingham, Ala.-based Skin Pathology Associates in 2007 in a business development role and worked with founding pathologist James Elder, M.D., to build a customer base in 19 states. By the time ADCS acquired Skin Pathology in 2016, Ms. Lynch was the lab’s COO, and in 2017 she was elevated to lead and integrated all of ADCS’s lab operations as Vice President of Pathology Operations. In addition to Birmingham, ADCS has dermatopathology labs in Fort Collins, Colo., and Delray, Fla.

“Under Allison’s operational leadership, the Pathology Division has emerged as an asset that helps differentiate ADCS for both quality and service,” said Daniel D. Crowley, Executive Chairman of ADCS. “We are pleased to announce her promotion.”

A member of the Medical Management Group and the American College of Healthcare Executives, Ms. Lynch graduated from Auburn University with an undergraduate degree in Health Services Administration. She earned a Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Alabama, Birmingham.

“It is exciting to work each day with the physicians and operational teams at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, where the high-quality work of our pathologists and lab staff is seen as a vital component of dermatologic care,” said Ms. Lynch. “It has been a pleasure to build a career in physician-led organizations like Skin Pathology and ADCS, where quality and patient care are always the highest priorities.”
